Dr. Piana 5/5 6 years ago it was not as fun as some traditional high schools... missed out on some things that may have seemed important at a young age.. but was well worth the sacrifice to become the person who I have become 30 years later.... looking back one could never regret the many opportunities provided post graduation.

Christian Caraballo 5/5 5 years ago Chaminade High School is an all boys school. The school is one of the best on Long Island. The reason I would love to go to the school here are the education they provide, the great activities, and how this school is one of the greatest on Long Island. Also this school is in a very nice neighborhood where you can pretty much trust everyone you see. Chaminade is simply one of the best all boys schools in the state of New York. The most I love about this school are the sports teams. Of course there are other clubs such as drama and band, but sporting events at Chaminade are a big deal. The Chaminade Flyers as they are called have a great reputation in sports such as lacrosse, basketball, and soccer. There are two types of teams for pretty much each sport. There is the JV team and the Varsity team. Another good quality of this school is they have a concussion policy. This states that if an injury like this should happen the player will be taken off the field and will have to must return symptom free before returning to the sport. This insures the safety of the teenager and the guardians will be happy the school knows what to do. Although many kids want to go to this school the parents have to worry about tuition. The total tuition is 11,255 dollars. The school does allow you though to pay not at once but rather in “trimesters”. For instance “first trimester” a parent has to pay 3,800 dollars. “Second trimester” a parent has to pay 3,455 dollars, and finally “third trimester” a parent has to pay 2,400 dollars.This allows you to pay altogether 9,655 dollars. That means that you’ll still have to pay another 2,000 dollars. This tuition price isn’t the greatest, but I’m sure the education is worth it for parents. If I have a son of my own going to Chaminade I’d definitely pay the price so my son can excel in life. I have thought of this question numerous times before I even had to write an essay on my most favorable high school. My ultimate question was what is the percentage of teenagers going to college. It turns out as I’m looking on the school site the percentage is 99%! How amazing is that! That is how great this school actually is. The percentage reflects what parents might think of this high school and the parents would be pleased. I know I probably would be. So another hugely asked question is how does this high school help my child get into college. Well the answer is very simple. This high school is one of the biggest on L.I. If your child is planning to go to a college in L.I these colleges will be looking out for schools like these. It may be even possible to get into an ivy league school. This is how this school benefits going into college. It gives the children the education they need to survive in life. It teaches the children to prosper.

Janelle Binagi 5/5 a week ago I had a scheduled c section on November 4th with Dr. Richard Roberts and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The nurses assigned to me for my intake and prep communicated every step of the way in preparation for my surgery. Undergoing a huge surgery it is normal to feel nervous and stressed, but Dr. Roberts, my assigned nurses and his assigned team in the ER reassured me, made me feel safe, confident, stress free, and put all my nerves at ease. Words can’t explain how much I appreciate the entire surgical crew. During my cesarean delivery, the staff constantly checked in on me, making sure I was comfortable, communicated what was transpiring, and made my husband and I feel like family every step of they way. I am forever thankful Dr Roberts, his assisting doctor, nurses, and staff did a phenomenal job and made the delivery of my daughter a memorable experience. The nurses during my recovery and postpartum as well were exceptional and caring. I received the best care throughout my entire stay and would highly recommend the maternity unit to upcoming new moms!

Greg C 2/5 2 weeks ago Family member brought in on a Friday afternoon. Sudden onset of Chest pains, jaw pain, shortness of breath. A child would know that may be a heart attack. Stabilized in the ER. Blood test showed troponin numbers elevated (another sign of heart muscle damage) Admitted and told stress test on Saturday . Told after admitting they don't do stress tests on the weekend !! Other part of story. Cardiologist NEVER SHOWED UP! Was told Saturday he would be in shortly . Showed up SUNDAY AFTERNOON. Nurses station wasn't sure who was covering this patient or wouldn't tell me. My personal cardiologist from ANOTHER HOSPITAL had to get involved. Only after that did a cardiologist see the patient . I think it's OUTRAGEOUS that a cardiologist did not see a POSSIBLE HEART ATTACK VICTIM until 48 HOURS after being brought in. This hospital used to be one of the best when it was Winthrop. I don't blame the nurses and staff. They were helpful, courteous , and did what they could. THE ADMINISTRATION , management is to blame when things go this wrong.

Nicole Wilkie 2/5 3 weeks ago Really use to love this hospital use to be amazing. Saved my son. Married us by my beds bedside the night before he died. Recently was brought with chest pains. I declined Tylenol bc it never really helps for me. IMMEDIATELY I heard the nurses saying she must be her for pills. I literally have 11 years sober and never asked for a opioid. Spoke to the doctor and it’s as if she could care less. The nurse has been on phone and when asked to help another nurse she refused. Like I’m sorry you refuse to help her with patients. And she did it right in front of my bed. The professionalism is gone here

bethanyscola 1/5 4 months ago I drove 44 minutes to come here because it says they’re open. Pulled up and they’re closed. We were taking a friend from out of state and it was just so disappointing. I just wish they updated their information.
